… And then there were two! In Episode 062 of Movie Podcast Weekly, Karl and Josh ditch out on Jason and Andy who review two films that are currently in theaters: Gary Fleder’s Homefront starring Jason Statham and James Franco and Jean-Marc Vallée’s Dallas Buyer’s Club starring Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto.
Movie Podcast Weekly typically features four hosts (and frequent guests), who give you their verdict on at least one new movie release that’s currently in theaters, mini-reviews of what they’ve been watching lately, and specialty recommendation segments. New episodes release every single Monday.

Due to today’s blizzard in Utah (and forecasted snow dumpage on Saturday) my Diane Lane look-alike wife has declared my fun-for-the-whole-family 1st Annual Winter Weenie Roast “officially snowed out.” Unofficially, I’m still down at any time with just the guys.
now i am totally interested in what is happening in karl’s house…
Following the podcast recommendation, I just finished watching Running Scared. I will have to say that this is one of – no, scratch that, THE best crime movie i have watched in the recent years. It is stylish, well paced, very engaging from the beginning throughout to the end. Paul Walker is effective for most of the part, though there are moments here and there I wish he could have a little more acting support – he seems having only 1 angry face and the same angry line – but otherwise excellent effort.
Thank you MoviePodcastWeekly for the recommendation. This is a very, very enjoyable movie and any crime movie fans should not miss.

You made my entire week. Your comment is the very epitome of why I am a film critic and a movie podcaster… It’s why I do it. Thanks for letting me know.
Ep. 062 – Jay of the Dead’s Creeps and Crime: RUNNING SCARED (2006) = 9 ( Buy it! )
Jason
Andy,
Thank you for the invite to a movie the next time I’m in town; I’d love it! Just to set the record straight on my movie preferences, I bought 9 mm at a rummage sale. I had no idea of its’ content. ‘
“Fool’s Parade” was filmed entirely in Moundsville, WV probably back in the early 70’s. It starred Jimmy Stewart and George Kennedy and was not the greatest movie; but it was filmed here. They used our state prison for filming and also filmed out on Roberts Ridge; which is where we lived for many years. “I’m just sayin’ . . .”
Yeah, right — Mom… Then why did you ask me to buy “Last Tango in Paris” for you for Mother’s Day? : )
Marlon Brando dancing tango right? Lol Phillis favorite!
Hi Mom. I’m serious about my offer. Sorry to disparage West Virginia. I actually love the state, and I’ve traveled extensively through it. I mostly just like to poke your little bear of a son, and I know you know that he deserves it.
