  1. Hey guys, just wanted to say sorry for all the interrupting. I realized after I hung up that I was rarely waiting my turn. Too used to Zombie 7 I guess. But that’s not an excuse. Thanks for having me, it was fun.

    • Hi guys! I want to say that my wife and I watched Anchorman 2 and thought it was a lot of fun. At one point I had to stop myself because I felt like I was going to laugh myself sick.

The last third of the film slowed down on laughs and I wondered why. Then, I realized it wasn’t because what I was watching wasn’t funny, it was that the film changed it’s tone. The parody of late 70’s/early 80’s family melodramas was excellent.

Then, the cameos begin. That was epic. SPOILER ALERT?

      Harrison Ford becomes a WereHyena.

That’s only part of the fun. After the credits, there is a brief scene that sealed the deal for me. It made me realize that they had been messing with my head. And I respect that.

It was solid and highly recommended from me!

  2. Watched Blackfish. I thought it was super boring at the beginning. But eventually I got hooked. Even more disturbing than the treatment of the whales is the treatment of their trainers. You have people who quite literally put their lives on the line everuioy day and then their employer says they are to blame for anything that goes on.

  3. Getting to this podcast a bit late this time, but since you asked for some feedback, I would probably give the fighter a 8. Christian Bale is great in everything he does.

The Intouchables was great also and definitely worth checking out.

  4. I remembered Josh talking about “Blackfish” a while back. I think he was spot-on on his review. I was fighting a fever when I decided to watch it. My fevers get a tad bit hallucinatory and I was totally having orca nightmares/delusions all night. Man that show scared me.

“Blackfish” did seem a bit one-sided. I found one article detailing SeaWorld’s response: http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/21/us/seaworld-blackfish-qa/. I am sure there is more out there. Regardless, the documentary won my family over. My wife and I were ready to go join picketers outside SeaWorld. “Free Tilikum!” “Stop Animal Cruelty!”

  5. Just being back from overseas trip and I had limited internet access there. Funny you guys started about fighter and I immediately thought about million dollar baby being a better film. I think I will give fighter something like 7.

Chris bale is not my favorite actor I have to say. I don’t know why .. he is effective but I can see many actors can do just a good job in fighter if given the role, Ethan hawk being one in my head right now.
