It’s funny, I’ve always wondered whether I made the cut. I don’t remember much of what I said at all, only that we did the interview outside in direct sunlight (which caused Andrew some mild frustration) because the Herald didn’t have any sort of studio/conference room available at the time. I do remember that my answers tended to be long-winded, and that Josh was a very patient, very measured interviewer.
When “Cleanflix: The Extended Director’s Cut — Special Edition” hits Bluray, maybe Jason and I can be included in the bonus content. Special extra: Long-lost interviews with small-time Utah film critics.
Also: Come on, Jay, how can you ask Karl whether he remembers me, like I’m that one guy he had a root beer with that one time 20 years ago? 🙂 It’s barely been a year since we did the “Star Trek” podcast. Cool new show, by the way. Believe it or not, I didn’t discover it until last week. I’ve got some catching up to do!
I’m one of those, Jay, that followed you from the horror podcasts…I don’t think you’re horror heavy, so don’t do less!
Another point, I really need to see Cleanflix because I’m really curious about how it’s approached…I’m a big proponent of not editing an artists vision…keep up the good work!
