Happy Halloween this month! Your hiatal hosts, Jason Pyles (aka “Jay of the Dead”), Kombat Karl “The Mad Irishman” Huddleston, and A Guy Named Andy, are ready to celebrate the month of Halloween with you here on “Movie Podcast Creepy.” Geek Cast Ryan Elliott is away harvesting or waiting for The Great Pumpkin in his earnestly sincere pumpkin patch. Even so, the remaining reapers here bring you Feature Reviews of Heart of the Beast (2026) and Primetime (2026) — both new in theaters — as well as our Horror creepy reviews this week: Family (2026), Scanners (1981), and Obsession (2026).
Naturally, we also bring you our usual, world-famous Mini Reviews of What We’ve Been Watching Lately. Plus, the guys discuss the underwhelming Avengers: Endgame Encore material, argue with The New York Times’ list of The Century’s Best Television Shows, and debate whether Tom Cruise’s “Digger” is worth the trip to the theater. We have our doubts… Also: Jay of the Dead produces a Halloween-ized version of our MPW’s theme music, Dave Eaton’s “Forest Flutter” song. Join us!
NOTE: MPW is now an “explicit” podcast. This episode contains major plot spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. Because Andy.
