  1. Finally I have been waiting patiently and I still want my best of 2025 show even if it comes out in July 😬
Stay safe and always look forward to your show.

    Mario in the bar…

  2. So ryan the geek doesn’t like people who he believes live in peaky blinders or yellows tone. And yet crows about stranger things, which has the same story every season. .he probably wears a fire club t shirt or whatever its called. He reminds me of Steve at my work who , if he doesn’t discover a show or film and has to be told to watch it , then its not so good.

    • I promise you I really like the color yellow. I also don’t have a hellfire club tshirt or a leather sons of anarchy jacket. I will admit to being extremely turned off to things when people that I know aren’t the thing they are pretending to be. But that’s my own roadblock. I could absolutely be missing out on something fun or cultural , noted, it’s just a turn off for me. Has nothing to do with not being the founder of the feast. Thanks for listening though we appreciate it.

  3. JAY: “You still get some snake, but not as much snake as you want.”
    ANDY, RYAN: [Crickets]
ME (Yelling into the crisp 15-degree morning air in Provo Canyon): “THAT”S WHAT SHE SAID!”

I can believe I was the only one to pick up on this. Andy and Ryan were apparently surfing the web or something and waiting for Jay to stop talking. You’re both fired. Even Jay is fired, for not realizing what just came out of his own mouth. Andy did catch the Arturo/”our churro” thing, so props, but that’s still not enough to save his job.

Also, now I want to know why GCR had to change the GeekCast hosting.

  4. Can’t wait to hear your BMOTY countdown episode. Sharing mine thoughts here.
For once, I have seen every movie nominated for best picture, plus all the big awards for actor, actress and director (and others not nominated). I thought it’d be fun to share my picks. These are not predictions, so I get to name movies that the Oscars didn’t. Plus, I don’t have to use their criteria.

An important note: Any of the first four on my list deserve Best Picture. 100%

Here’s my list, starting with the Best Movie of the Year. Commentary follows.
    1. Hamnet
    2. Nuremberg
    3. Sinners
    4. One Battle After Another
    5. Sorry, Baby
    6. Eddington
    7. The Housemaid
    8. House of Dynamite
    9. The Lost Bus
    10. Rule Breakers
