Join us! Episode 351 was recorded in July of 2022, and it was released, eventually, on Sept. 2, 2022.

Jay’s curmudgeonly dismissal of the sustained excellence and brilliance of STRANGER THINGS has got to be his oddest running take. Jay, you’re a prince among podcast hosts, but you need to swallow your initial reluctance to engage and give STRANGER THINGS a second chance. Stop it, bear!
Worth mentioning, since there was a sidebar discussion of LGBTQ tokenism in this episode: There is an LGBTQ subplot in STRANGER THINGS that builds up across multiple seasons and finally gets a bit of front-and-center attention in Season 4. Come to think of is, there are two such subplots. Both are notable for thoughtfully and compassionately engaging with oft-mishandled subject matter. And one of them leads to a couple of the most moving scenes the show has ever provided.
