  1. Jason! You read my comment, you beautiful man, you! Thanks! Once again, stellar work on this show. I can’t believe I slept on this podcast for so long! (Insert Andy-falling-asleep-joke HERE).

Man, Andy sure is great! He’s my favorite student of lepidopterology, but Jason… you’re still my favorite podcast producer. Well, top 25 at least 😉

  2. A question for Andy (and I suppose the rest), since I know he watches/listens to a lot of stand-up comedy. What are your thoughts on the “Pre-show” segments that seem to be happening more and more on stand up specials? The sort of segments/skits that happen backstage, maybe the comedians meet up with someone or whatever.

Personally, I hate these with a passion. It’s gotten to the point where I fast forward a few minutes in every stand up just so I can start with the actual stand-up act. As far as I’m concerned, all a stand-up special needs is some random guy going “Ladies and gentlemen….*Insert comedian’s name here*~!!!!” and go straight into the jokes.

    • I’m right there with you, Sal! I fast-forward through these as well! Ha ha. And here I thought I was the only one! Good to know you’re out there, buddy!
