Hi. Happy new year. Happy 2025. But wait, this is the MOVIE PODCAST WEEKLY episode for August and September of 2024. So, we can’t celebrate the new year yet… Here in Episode 363, your hosts — Jason Pyles, Karl Huddleston, Ryan Elliott, and A Guy Named Andy talk about Alien: Romulus (2024) and the ridiculously abysmal Joker: Folie à Deux (2024), and a bunch of other stuff. We hope you have as much fun listening as we did recording this one!

Nothing like tuning in to Movie Podcast Hot Topic for some super fresh takes on the all the zeitgeist-iest Apple TV shows of 2020. I guess it’s like Sam Seaborn once said: “Let’s forget the fact that you’re coming a little late to the party and embrace the fact that you showed up at all.” Good for you, Jay. TED LASSO is amazing. I predict that you will finish the show before the next episode of MPHT gets recorded, and that Karl will warn you not to shit the bed after you start let on that you didn’t find the series, overall, to be as poignant as you expected it to be. I know that’s a pretty specific prediction, but I have a feeling that I might be right on the money.
Also, this is for Judge Judy:
mike – 1 of 3 – noun (ˈmīk): microphone
