  1. This is the greatest moment for this podcast. The day Geek Cast Ryan took over as host of MPW. No longer do we have to concern ourselves with episodes posted extra late or never at all in some cases. No, if anything, Ryan has proven to be very reliable in posting episodes on time and on schedule. Not sure how you were able to convince the other hosts to be more considerate when they speak, as to avoid extra editing duties. Jay was always way too nice about this and let everyone curse and eat and make other dumb noises that needed to be edited out of the show. I already noticed a much higher rate of compliance in terms of keeping things professional and much less of an editing nightmare. Let’s hope that this remains the standard for the show going forward. Also, if Karl retires, that will be very sad for this podcast.

Tombstone is a modern western classic. George Cosmatos and Kurt Russell do an outstanding job creating a western that is an equal to it’s past contemporaries in cinema history. I’ve often compared this against Wyatt Earp, as many have, and find Tombstone to be the far superior of the two. Looking at his filmography, he arguably only had one mediocre film, which was his final one. Otherwise, he had a pretty good 10 year run from 1983 to 1993, which was the year Tombstone was released. His son, Panos Cosmatos is also a pretty good filmmaker as well.

Nice episode guys. Keep up the great work.
