Giant robots versus giant robots are not quite as fun as Movie Podcast Weekly, Episode 284, where we bring you Feature Reviews of Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) and Unsane (2018) and Paul, Apostle of Christ (2018) and Small Town Crime (2018) and Game Over, Man! (2018). We bring you these reviews with the help of special guest William Rowan Jr. of Movie Moments Podcast and The Sci-Fi Podcast and the creator of “The Villa.” No Andy. No Karl. Just Jason, Ryan and William, but still … join us!
If you’re new to our show… Movie Podcast Weekly typically features four hosts — Jason, Andy, Karl and Geek Cast Ry — along with frequent guests. We give you our verdicts on at least one new movie release from the current year that’s currently playing in theaters, as well as several mini reviews of whatever we’ve been watching lately. New episodes release every single week!

Thanks for listening, and join us again next week for Movie Podcast Weekly.
Since it snowed today and I was looking to get the kids out to do something we decided to go see Peter Rabbit at the cheap theaters. Initially I saw that this film had unfavorable reviews but I have to say I enjoyed it for a kids movie. It is not great but it is not bad. For a kids movie 7/10.
Totally agree, Clayton. Yeah, if ya gotta see a kids’ movie, “Peter Rabbit” is kinda funny!
-J
Can we get a moratorium on The Push?
Sure, RedCap, but for how long…?
I guess, in the meantime, we’ll just go back to talking about “The Wire” and my purple belt in jujitsu again… tee he.
-J
You do jijitsu?
That purple belt has been through the laundry so many times it’s starting to look positively pink.
Really enjoyed this episode! I always like it when William is on. I definitely want to see Unsane sometime soon. Looking forward to next week!! Thanks for all your hard work Jason.
I just checked out Letterbox’d list of top 50 reviewed films so far this year. It’s always interesting to see what’s going on on this community-generated list. I try to keep their top 10 in my queue.
